The Journal of Digital Socio-Cultural Studies is a quarterly publication dedicated to exploring the interaction between digital technologies and social and cultural dimensions.
1. Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted and tracked exclusively through the journal’s online system at https://scds.ir.
- Do not submit physical copies or send manuscripts via email.
- Authors are required to carefully read the registration and submission guide available on the journal website before submitting their manuscript.
2. Publication Limits
- Faculty members of universities or research institutions may publish a maximum of two articles per year.
- Other authors may publish one article per year, and only two submissions can be sent for peer review within the same year.
- Master’s students’ articles are not accepted for peer review independently; they must be co-authored with a faculty supervisor.
3. Plagiarism Check
- Authors must perform a similarity check using the Hamandjoo system on the IranDoc platform before submission and submit the report along with the manuscript. For English papers the iThenticate software is recommended for plagiarism checking.
4. Peer Review and Acceptance
- Initial acceptance is contingent upon compliance with the journal’s manuscript preparation guidelines.
- Final acceptance occurs only after completion of the peer-review process.
- Review results will be communicated to authors via the journal’s online system.
5. Author Declarations and Copyright
- Authors must complete and sign a publication guarantee form, confirming the accuracy of information and adherence to research ethics.
- By submitting a manuscript, the author grants the journal the right to publish the work.
- The journal reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit manuscripts.
- Once submitted and sent for peer review, manuscripts cannot be withdrawn.
6. Article Type
- The type of article (research, review, applied, case study, or educational) will be determined by the reviewers and editorial board based on the manuscript’s content and quality.
