Aims and Scope

Vision, Objectives, and Thematic Scope of the Quarterly Journal of Digital Socio-Cultural Studies 

Vision 

  1. To contribute to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of digital cultural and social studies at both national and international levels. 
  1. To serve as an inspirational platform for theory-building and the development of emerging subfields in digital cultural and social studies. 

Objectives 

  1. Expanding and deepening scholarly knowledge in digital cultural and social studies through the integration of local and global perspectives. The journal supports theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary research that examines transformations in digital culture, with a special focus on Iran, Islamic societies, and global contexts. 
  1. Fostering effective platforms for cross-cultural and transnational knowledge exchange by strengthening academic collaboration with researchers, institutions, and scholarly associations worldwide, particularly in neighboring countries, the Global South, and leading international institutions. The goal is to enhance scientific dialogue on social and cultural changes in the digital era. 
  1. Promoting, translating, and disseminating scholarly resources, theories, and research outputs in the field of digital cultural and social studies. The journal actively participates in global conversations on culture, technology, and society, and provides a venue for research that reinterprets local experiences within international frameworks.
